What are the benefits of using electromagnetic relay control

Update:02-07-2020

It plays the role of automatic adjustment, safety protection and conversion circuit in the circuit.

Electromagnetic relays are generally composed of electromagnets, armatures, springs, contacts, etc., and their working circuits are composed of two parts: a low-voltage control circuit and a high-voltage working circuit. The electromagnetic relay can also realize remote control and automatic control.

As long as a certain voltage is applied to both ends of the coil, a certain current will flow through the coil, thereby generating an electromagnetic effect. The moving contact and the static contact (normally open contact) attract.

When the coil is de-energized, the electromagnetic suction will also disappear, and the armature will return to the original position under the reaction force of the spring, releasing the moving contact and the original static contact (normally closed contact). This pulls in and releases, thus achieving the purpose of turning on and off in the circuit.

The "normally open, normally closed" contacts of the relay can be distinguished in this way: the static contacts that are off when the relay coil is not energized are called "normally open contacts"; the static contacts that are in the on state are called It is "normally closed contact".

The benefits of using electromagnetic relay control are:
1. The low voltage and weak current circuit can be used to indirectly control the high voltage and strong current circuit through the electromagnetic relay, ensuring the personal safety of the operator and convenient control;
2. The temperature in the workplace is high or the environment is not good, you can use electromagnetic relays to achieve remote operation and control, improve the operator's working environment, and facilitate control.
3. It has magnetism when it is energized and disappears when it is powered off, which is convenient for control.
