How to improve the reliability of relay operation?

Update:09-09-2021

The reliability of operation is one of the important parameters in the relay. The relay is a component with control function and relay protection. So how should the operating performance of this component be improved?
First: When the protection setting value or the secondary circuit is changed, check the setting value or the protection circuit with relevant precautions, and record the content and time of the change of the protection device, the person in charge of the change, and the signature of the operation team leader in the change book. The modification of the protection main equipment also needs to carry out trial operation or trial operation test. For example, if the differential protection is replaced with a CT, the hexagonal diagram test should be qualified before it can be put into operation.
Second: Pay attention to the acceptance of relay protection. After the relay protection is debugged, strictly self-inspected and professionally accepted, and then submit the acceptance form. The factory will organize the inspection, operation, and production departments to conduct the entire set of protection experiments and switch on and off. After passing the test and confirming that the disassembled wiring, components, signs, and pressure plates have returned to normal, and the site is civilized, hygienic and clean, sign the acceptance form.
   Third: In addition to the inspection of the shift, a more comprehensive and detailed inspection is arranged in the class. The contents of the patrol inspection of relay protection include:
  1) The protection pressure plate and the automatic device are all put into operation according to the dispatching requirements;
   2) The position of the switch and the pressure plate are correct; the wiring of each circuit is normal, and there is no looseness, heating phenomenon and burnt smell;
  3) The fuse is in good contact;
  4) The relay contacts are intact, the live contacts have no large jitter or burnout, and the coils and additional resistors have no overheating;
  5) There is no open circuit or short circuit in CT and PT circuits respectively;
  6) Indicator lights and operation monitoring lights indicate normal;
  7) The meter parameters meet the requirements;
   8) The nameplate, alarm bell, and accident sound are in good condition;
   9) After the microcomputer protects the printer, the time and parameters of the report should also be checked. When the report is found to be abnormal, the relay protection personnel should be notified to deal with it in time.
  Fourth: Strict patrol inspection of relay protection devices and their secondary circuits is an important way to discover hidden dangers in time and avoid accidents, and it is also an important task for power plant personnel on duty.
